Abstract

The word phytochemicals indicates chemistry of   the primary and secondary metabolites found in the plants make them special for the utilization of various purposes like food and medicines. The each and every phytochemical present or synthesized in the various plants as well as various parts of the plants have their own importance in so many way. Basically the primary metabolites like carbohydrates, proteins and fats are synthesized in plants by various metabolic pathways and considered as a ground roots reasons for the manufacturing of secondary metabolites in the form various phytochemicals, phytoconstituents. Where the primary metabolites synthesized by plants are consider as food stuffs for all living bodies like human beings, animals, and birds to fulfill their stomachs. And the secondary metabolites are the various medicines for treatments all diseases, ailments, symptoms. So it’s very essential to know about what are phytochemicals. Actually what they in accordance with chemical science. Here we are taken xanthium strumarium plant for exploring various phytochemicals available in different parts of this plant. Correlated with their therapeutic uses.
