Author Guidelines
The International Journal of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences (IJCPS) welcomes high-quality, original manuscripts that advance knowledge in chemical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, and allied health disciplines. Authors should carefully follow the instructions below before submitting their manuscripts.

- General Requirements
- Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
- The manuscript should be written in clear, concise English.
- Authors are responsible for the scientific accuracy and integrity of the work.
- All submissions must comply with international publication ethics and reporting standards.
- Manuscript Preparation
Title Page Include:
- Full manuscript title
- Running title (maximum 50 characters)
- Full names of all authors
- Institutional affiliations
- ORCID iD (recommended)
- Corresponding author's name, email address, telephone number, and complete postal address
Abstract
- Maximum 250 words
- Structured for Original Articles:
- Background
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion
Review Articles and Case Reports may use an unstructured abstract.
Keywords
Provide 3–6 keywords using Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) where appropriate.

- Number consecutively using Arabic numerals.
- Each table and figure must have a descriptive title.
- Figures should be submitted in high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).
- Authors must obtain permission for previously published material.

AJMPS follows the Vancouver referencing style.

- Ethical Requirements
Authors must provide:
- Ethics Committee/Institutional Review Board approval number (where applicable)
- Informed patient consent for human studies
- Animal ethics approval for animal experiments
- Clinical trial registration number (if applicable)
Studies should comply with the Declaration of Helsinki and recognized ethical standards.
- Authorship
It follows the ICMJE authorship criteria. Each author should have substantially contributed to:
- Study conception or design
- Data collection or analysis
- Manuscript drafting or revision
- Final approval of the manuscript
All authors share responsibility for the published work.
- Conflict of Interest
All authors must disclose:
- Financial relationships
- Employment
- Consultancy
- Grants
- Stock ownership
- Patents
- Any competing interests
If none exist, state:
"The authors declare no conflict of interest."
- Funding Statement
Authors should clearly identify all sources of financial support.
Example:
"This research received no external funding."
(or)
"This work was supported by [Funding Agency], Grant No. XXXXX."
- Data Availability Statement
Include a statement describing where supporting data can be accessed or explain any restrictions on availability.
- Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
If AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT) were used for language editing or drafting, authors must disclose their use in the manuscript. AI tools must not be listed as authors, and authors remain fully responsible for the manuscript's content.
- Plagiarism Policy
- Manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening.
- Similarity should generally be below 15%, excluding references and commonly used terminology.
- Plagiarism, duplicate publication, and data fabrication will result in rejection.
- Peer Review
- Initial editorial screening
- Double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers
- Editorial decision:
- Accept
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Reject
Editorial decisions are based on scientific quality, originality, ethical compliance, and relevance.
- Copyright
Upon acceptance, authors retain copyright where applicable while granting journal the right to publish the article under the journal's copyright and licensing policy.
- Submission Checklist
Before submission, ensure that:
- Manuscript follows formatting requirements.
- Title page is complete.
- Abstract and keywords are included.
- References are correctly formatted.
- Tables and figures are properly labeled.
- Ethics approval and patient consent statements are included where required.
- Funding and conflict of interest statements are provided.
- All authors have approved the final manuscript.
