Peer Review Process

The Asian Journal of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Research (AJCPR) follows a peer review system to ensure that published articles meet scientific and ethical standards. Based on the journal's published author guidelines and review policies, the process typically includes the following steps:

Manuscript Submission
Authors submit their manuscript through the e-mail at pharmaresearchlibrary@gmail.com
The manuscript should comply with the journal's formatting and author guidelines.

Editorial Screening

The editorial office checks whether the manuscript:

  • Fits the journal's scope.
  • Meets formatting requirements.
  • Contains all required sections.
  • Satisfies plagiarism and ethical standards.
  • Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned for technical corrections before review.

Peer Review

  • The manuscript is sent to at least two independent experts in the relevant field.
  • We are using double-blind peer review process, where reviewers and authors do not know each other's identities.

Reviewer Evaluation
Reviewers assess:

  • Originality and novelty.
  • Scientific methodology.
  • Data quality and statistical analysis.
  • Interpretation of results.
  • Quality of writing and presentation.
  • Ethical compliance.
  • Significance of the research.

Editorial Decision
Based on reviewer comments, the editor may decide:

  • Accept
  • Minor Revision.
  • Major Revision.
  • Reject

Revision

  • Authors respond to each reviewer comment point-by-point.
  • Revised manuscripts may be returned to the reviewers for a second evaluation if substantial revisions were requested.

Final Acceptance and Publication

  • Once the editor is satisfied with the revisions, the manuscript is accepted.
  • The paper then proceeds to copyediting, proofreading, and publication in the journal.

Typical Timeline

  • Initial editorial assessment: A few days to 1 week.
  • Peer review: Approximately 2–4 weeks.
  • Initial decision: Around 4–6 weeks after submission.
  • Publication after acceptance

Overall, the journal aims to maintain a rigorous review process by using independent expert reviewers and editorial oversight before accepting manuscripts for publication.
